Honda Motors India is all set to bring the new and fresh Honda Brio sedan, which is named Honda amaze. This one would be the first diesel car by Honda in India. The car is expected to be launched in 2013 – 2014. The most excitement about the launch of Amaze is 1.5 litre of i-DTEC diesel engine, which is expected to debut with Amaze. However, so far, the company has kept mum on the topic, but rumors are going on strong and the car will come powered with 1.5 litre of i-DTEC diesel engine, while the petrol engine will of 1.2 litre and would certainly impress the aspiring car consumers.

Honda Amaze is actually based on the Brio platform, and with the teaser launched in the official web page of Honda in Thailand, we clearly saw that the car has some hints of Honda City. Not much information was revealed by the video, but the stylish and contemporary design without a doubt captivated all. Apparently, this one has been specifically designed for the Asian markets. Even the naming has been done as per the features. Honda Amaze is designed and developed keeping in mind the needs and requirements of an aspiring car consumers.

The features installed inside keep the ability to ‘amaze’ everyone.Coming back to the engine part, the petrol version of Honda Amaze is likely to get powered by 1.2 litre of i-VTEC petrol engine churning out 88PS of peak power and coupled with five-speed manual transmission . Even the diesel engine (1.5L) would be coupled with the same gearbox. With the mating of the engines with this gearbox, one could expect quite an imposing performance from the sedan. However, all car fanatics are eagerly waiting for an official word on the diesel variant of this Brio based sedan, but looks like the car maker loves to surprise its fans.

According to the grapevine, an automatic gearbox option could also come into the market.On the inside, the interiors of the new Honda sedan would be loaded with array of comfort features, starting from air conditioning, automatic climate control to safety features like ABS, EBD, brake assist and airbags. All these features would help Amaze to be as amazing as its name.
